ABOUT ME

 I know

You don’t take this decision lightly

Waitlists are long and time is short. And finding a therapist who truly gets your child—and your family—is no small task. That’s why I’ve built my practice with intention: personalized, flexible, and rooted in deep connection.

I know how important it is to feel seen, heard, and supported during this process. I take the time to build real relationships with each child and family I serve. My boutique pediatric speech therapy practice is centered around thoughtful, individualized care that adapts to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and personality—not the other way around.

You won’t find cookie-cutter sessions here. You’ll find a collaborative partner who listens, explains, and goes the extra mile to help your child thrive.

Read more about my approach below, and please reach out with any questions. I’d love to connect.

hey there!

I’m Candice

I am a licensed and ASHA certified Speech and Language Pathologist. I graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Speech and Hearing Science and earned a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University. In my 10+ years of experience, I’ve provided care in a variety of settings including hospitals, homes and schools. Within those settings, I’ve spent the entirety of my career supporting neurodivergent children in multidisciplinary clinics, individual sessions and social language groups. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with exceptional therapists and physicians- allowing me to view a child’s profile through a wholistic lens. I use my breadth of knowledge and unique perspective to increase children's abilities to communicate effectively and efficiently with those around them. I merge the art and science of the field to provide exceptional assessment and intervention for all of my clients and their families.
